HSBC's Global Investor Immigration Services

HSBC's Global Investor Immigration Services Program was created by the Canadian government to attract successful business immigrants, and to bring new investment capital to Canada. To qualify, you must meet the following criteria:

• show that you have business experience
• you must have legally obtained a minimum household net worth of CDN$800,000
• pass medical and security evaluations
• make a CDN$400,000 investment with the Govt. of Canada for 5 years, which can be financed with HSBC

The Ontario Government has committed $10 million over the next four years to assist municipalities such as ours to launch their own web portals and help newcomers and their families. The Connecting Windsor-Essex Smart Community Portal is an official source for key information, services, and contacts within the region, and has content organized under eight key theme areas ranging from government to cultural information.
